House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was one of a number of top Democrats to rip into President Trump’s decision to expand the travel ban to include six more countries on Friday -- with Pelosi describing it as “discrimination disguised as policy.”
“The Trump administration’s expansion of its outrageous, un-American travel ban threatens our security, our values and the rule of law," she said in a statement. "The sweeping rule, barring more than 350 million individuals from predominantly African nations from traveling to the United States, is discrimination disguised as policy."

The initial seven countries have restrictions on both immigrant and non-immigrant visas, but Acting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Chad Wolf told reporters that the six countries announced Friday are very different from the current seven, which is why the restrictions are lighter.
“These countries, for the most part, want to be helpful, want to do the right thing, have relationships with the U.S. and are in some cases improving relations, but for a variety of different reasons failed to meet those minimum requirements that we laid out,” he said.
Criteria considered when judging countries included to what extent the countries share information on passports and prospective bad actors, as well as whether or not the country poses an elevated national security risk in relation to crime, terrorism and illegal immigration.
But the more nuanced approach did not appear to soften Democratic complaints about the move.

Obama’s petty tyrant judges tossed out the ban last time because they deemed it was actually a ban on Mozlems. That would have been a feature, not a bug.

As the EU dissolves over this issue the pressure is on the EU loving globalist democrats to “open our borders”.... which is totally illegal, and Constitutionally in control of the President.

Trump is cleaning house, cleaning up the kickback money scheme through various countries and US sponsored non-govt. organizations who are “selected” (like Yovanovitch did in Ukraine) for US AID funding— on the basis of tacit unwritten agreement for the “non-profit” NGO to kick back 20% of their contract as “bakshish” (as they say in the ME— a BRIBE) back to specified candidates democrat, and to the DNC. This source is drying up, as it should.
Pelosi is on the ropes, mentally and in any kind of “leadership”. One look at the absolute slimeball that is Schumer, after the no witness vote- saying all kind os shite, about “unprecedented”— means as a democrat gang of Intel 8 he is one of the coup enablers and plotters. And he and Nancy are scared shiteless about their actions in the “russia, russia” false narrative and FISA court abuse. They could be prosecuted, and will definitely be “outed”.

Immigration policy can and should discriminate. It’s not related legally to domestic fair housing laws - not at all. We should admit people who will be assets and contribute to USA. ( I’d also admit some genuine humanitarian cases but not let this serve as an open door to more islamic twrrorists or terrorism supporters - or Mexican or communist Chinese drug pushers etc)
