A theoretical method to slow glaciation has been around for a long time, to sprinkle soot on top of the glacier, then again after a major snowfall. It likely won’t reduce the glacier, or even maintain its current size, but it may slow its rate of growth.

There is also the possibility that a solar minimum, by itself, might not be enough, that it needs something like a major volcanic eruption to jump start the cooling process.
