DNC chair says app used in Iowa won't be used in other primary states

Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair Tom Perez said Tuesday that the app blamed for delaying the results of the Iowa caucus will not be used in the remaining primary contests.

"It is clear that the app in question did not function adequately," Perez said in a statement. The app was created by Shadow Inc., a company based in Washington, D.C.

"It will not be used in Nevada or anywhere else during the primary election process. The technology vendor must provide absolute transparent accounting of what went wrong."

Shadow, a company affiliated with Democratic nonprofit group Acronym, sold an app built to transmit results to the Iowa Democratic Party.

IDP chairman Tom Price stressed in a statement Tuesday that “there was not a cyber security intrusion” into the caucus.

“As part of our investigation, we determined with certainty that the underlying data collected via the app was sound,” he continued. “While the app was recording data accurately, it was reporting out only partial data. We have determined that this was due to a coding issue in the reporting system.”

'OUR investigation proves it was a coding error and not a manipulation of votes.'

Perez stressed it was not a 'cyber security intrusion' because if he makes that claim that it was, there would be an external investigation which would expose how the Democrats were manipulation the count.

The app worked precisely as designed—by the Clintons.

Shadow Inc’s mission statement pretty much states they are a liberal, political hack aimed at progressing that movement.

In Canada we count votes by marking an X on a sheet of paper for the person we want to run our riding, and then drop it in a box... Then representatives from all parties open the box and count the ballots. It works.

Give it shot sometime.

You mean you're not going to use an app that crashes when it tries to add votes?

It’s so adorable that they actually think we believe a word of this.

What a snow job.

Until they announce that Imran Awan has consulted with Robby Mook and they cleaned it up with the server cloth and Cloudstrike agrees it’s all fine now.

This was all planned.
They wanted Iowa’s caucus nullified anyway.

There was an article here a few weeks back about how the DNC didn’t like the fact that Iowa had so much weight in the candidates because it was first and they wanted something more “blue”.

Well guess which states primary is next? New Hampshire.

And what’s the narrative? That will be the bell weather to determine the current candidate ranking.

Hmmmmmm....

I believe there is a house push to make the software mandatory in the General Election.

Just watch - the company won’t fold and, in fact, will be used by select campaigns for larger purposes in the future.

This would be the death knell for any other company that did this if the narrative is true.

Unfortunately, the Republicans did a similar screwup in 2012 when Romney’s stupid consultants unleashed an app called Orca to identify voters on Election Day to get out the vote.

These political consultants, who made big bucks on the project, didn’t bother to explain or test the app out.

It failed in the first ten minutes the polls were opened.

The consultants with their 15% commission and the software bozos made millions, and went on with successful businesses in future Republican campaigns.

...it wasn't Russia. But two years and $40 million should get to the bottom of it all.

The “Democrats couldn’t arrange a three car funeral parade” is an apt description of the people who want to control your family’s health care and education.

Saw an analysis tonight that said the app didn’t fail.

They were trying to buffer Joe Biden’s loss and Sander’s win. So they delayed the results until it was covered by the acquittal. And they somehow have vaulted Mayor Pete over Sanders by 1%.

My guess is they probably bolstered Biden’s results too, but there is only so much makeup you can put on a pig.

They had a clip of Biden saying that if Sander’s wins, every Democrat in red states, blue states, purple states is going to have to carry the Socialist label because Sander’s labels himself that.

Democrats are really afraid they are going to get appropriately labeled with what they are. And many democrats will wake up and realize they don’t want that.
