It’s pathetic that they believe Trump felt threatened by this bumbling old fool. But so long as they made such a big issue of Trump’s people investigating him, the investigation has to stay underneath the radar ‘til November, no matter who gets nominated, and it won’t be Biden. Just to avoid the circus atmosphere and stay on message, it has to stay quiet.

Other than the specifics of this case, this is really nothing new. Corruption of magnitude has been going on for a very long time. The people most capable of changing it profit by it so they look the other way or shrug it off - insiders, media, intelligence, academia, other politicians and more.
Really the only way to clean it up is to drastically cut the size and scope of the federal government. The abuse is widespread and the deception built-into the processes. They bloviate about the need for Ukraine aid, but much of the aid is not sent to Ukraine but to politically connected and biased NGOs and used, in some part, to cover the overhead/payroll of the partisans inside it - it’s payola. Planned Parenthood grants are fungibly turned into financing lobbying. Research grants only given to those agreeing to look into a specific result rather than a universal scientific method. Arts grants going to institutions that are politically active. Money to universities to fungibly pay for non-educational purposes and various administrative departments. It’s all over the place. Few have an interest in looking into it, let alone exposing it or trying to change it.
I agree it is undoubtedly known. But it is also pertinent to the Democratic primary (Biden) and to the entire impeachment fraud. If the American public was aware that the entire Biden family, Kerry’s son, Romney’s advisor, et others were major players in money laundering - US taxpayer money
given to a nation, siphoned off, and placed in a different nation clear of US label. This was spelled out in one of the European reports floating around on internet.
