It remains to be seen how badly they have been damaged by the impeachment but my guess is another round would indeed bring damage since I doubt McConnell will even give it any time at all and dismiss it from the get go. Futile gestures will bring about more bickering among the dims and the public is already somewhat exhausted over the whole mess. We are getting into the early election season and making impeachment sideshows isn’t going to play well.
