We should not tolerate mass communications companies censoring the speech of American citizens.

CBS is a mass communications company.

I'm an American.

If they don't let me voice an editorial on 60 Minutes are they censoring me?

I think you need a little more work on your definitions.

Not you specifically, but the body of people represented by your views, which is a non trivial plurality. And no, they should not be allowed to do it. There used to be laws barring them from putting out politics without a rebuttal from the opposition side.

CBS, and other MSM are publishers. They create or select the content & are responsible for it. Twitter was a common carrier — they carried content without being responsible for it. By censoring content they don't like, Twitter has (IMHO) become a publisher, and could be liable for the content. IMHO,big fat law suits are inevitable.
