Mayor Pete will probably be out of the running soon. If he is depending on Black and Hispanic males, forget about it. They are not fond of gays. IMO
I worry about Butt-gigety. Like people “doing the right thing” and electing a Black (Obama) there is a contingent of bleeding hearts who think it’s only right to elect a homo.
No, Buttigieg would be a dud as a nominee for the Democrats, but Blacks and Hispanics are also showing little enthusiasm for elderly white candidates such as Biden, Sanders, Warren, and Bloomberg. Moreover, Trumps’s success, conservative values, and male energy are attractive to many traditional Blacks and Hispanics. For Democrats this year, the internal fractures and contradictions of their coalition are proving hard to paper over. We may be watching the early stages of the collapse of the Democratic Party’s 2020 national campaign.
