Jewish immigration into Palestine was encouraged in the 1920s by Abdulaziz ibn Saud. The Third Man, of a group of British, communist spies famous in the 1950s and 1960s, Kim Philby, was the son of Harry St. John Philby. The father became high advisor to founding Saudi Arabian King Abdulaziz ibn Saud. Philby converted to Islam, had numerous wives, and bought a 15 year old slave at an auction in Istanbul, a fact that has been scrubbed from Wikipedia. Ibn Saud, under Philby’s advice, encourage Jewish immigration into Palestine.
