Hubby lived there as a Navy brat in the late 50s and hes got some crazy stories about his time in Yokohama.
Dad was stationed there in the 1950s.
I remember waking up at 3 AM when the neighborhood honeybucket campaign would get started.
50 or 60 well used empties would be stacked up in an empty lot. The three wheel pumper truck would service the homes and return to fill the buckets.
