Sondland was relocated to private life because he acted like a buffoon and ran his mouth too much without getting instructions from the President. No one was relocated for only testifying about their own incompetence.

I’d rather just see a quiet expulsion of a whole lot of people with simple statements that are legal and legitimate reasons for dismissal and there are plenty of them. Those who serve at the pleasure of the President can be dismissed for anything at any time including the part of their hair. They will do all the advertising that needs to be done after they are dismissed.
