The Democratic National Committee announced new rules for getting on stage for the party's Feb. 19 debate in Nevada — and they have the potential to shake up who is on the stage.
The new qualification standards scrap the grassroots funding support threshold that candidates have had to meet for prior debates. That means former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a billionaire who is self-funding his campaign and is not soliciting donations, could make his first appearance on stage.
The DNC said Friday that candidates have three paths to the Nevada debate stage. They could reach 10% support in a combination of four national polls or state polls from Nevada or South Carolina; 12% support in two polls from Nevada or South Carolina or both; or get a convention delegate in Iowa and New Hampshire, which hold their respective caucus and primary earlier in February.
All of the party's previous debates had included a fundraising element, and candidates had been required to meet both a polling threshold and demonstrate grassroots fundraising support since September.

When the Democrat/Left Party finds a way to prevent or remove Sanders as the nominee because they know he will be crushed in November, his supporters will demand he run as an independent lest they just stay home as many did the during last election. It’s a beautiful thing.

DNC loves to change the rules of their game.....I get the impression they’ll all end up at a brokered convention——to be fair....and the DNC will call it for their preferred Candidate of choice.
Bloomie too! And maybe Steyer! With two 3rd party candidates, the DNC would end up in the Biden position, 4th, and out of the running.

Bloomberg has purchased his way into the debates and now will seek to buy the nomination and the election.
He represents the wealthy Mercedes Marxist class of Democrats who don’t want the party’s Marxist ideas to go so far as to take THEIR wealth - he is their Biden, who is now too damaged to run. That is why he is entering the race formally only now and did not do so earlier.
Burnee is just PO’d because nanny bloomers has more dachas than he does. But there is possibly a 4th house in the offing for burnee if he just does the “right” thing.
How many phone books will Mini Mike Bloomberg have to stand on to make his diminutive, evil-dwarf like stature appear to be as tall as the rest of the candidates?

They know Trump is going to win, it's a foregone conclusion.
But if Bernie is the nominee, forget it, he'll run CHEAP cuz he knows he's McGovern plus one foot in the grave. He'll lose BIG -- Bernie would destroy the Democrat's coattails while losing historically; and we would actually take back the House -- as an FU to the Democrat Party which would not move Left with him during his rotten lifetime.
So right now that SuperPAC money is flowing through Butt, but it might be easier for them to grift their own SuperPACs with Doomberg, because the focus (what little there will be) will be on his funding his own campaign.
Gee, if Bloomy can buy the Presidency just think what judges he can buy.
