Then there's money rolling in from various governments. For example, from last year...

Germany continues payments to churches a century after deciding to stop

Nine figures just from Germany.

> How much is the Catholic Church worth? <

It’s a secret (really). That’s not a surprise, given that the Vatican is a sovereign state.

The secrecy is not the problem. It’s the hypocrisy that’s the problem. No one knows just what the Catholic Church is worth. But it must be in the billions. And it’s all controlled by one man.

So what we have, in essence, is a billionaire saying that everyone else’s wealth is bad.

How much is the Catholic Church worth?

Isn't that irrelevant, as they hold that wealth in trust for the faithful? /S

They should sell off all the gold and jewels in the Vatican museum.

Someone remind me HOW MANY ‘refugees’ that were streaming into Europe that the Vatican took inside their walls? Hungary finally built a wall to stop them entering...The Vatican already had walls & guards. NONE were allowed in, IIRC.

I remember when a homeless man was sleeping on the steps of the Orange County courthouse in Santa Ana, Calif. He got kicked off again & again every morning. I don’t remember which group sued the county in his behalf, but he got a settlement of $250,000. He didn’t pay any taxes-—he wouldn’t hold a job-—all the things awry with him that you could think of.

A reporter did a followup on him ONE year later.

He was still sleeping on the Santa Ana streets & he was penniless. PENNILESS !!! $250,000 of taxpayers funds gone with no explanation.

Poverty wears many coats-—and comes in many colors.

Too many babies when you already cannot feed/house/clothe yourself.

Refusing to stay in school & get an education. Drug dealing at age 11 seems to mean more to many kids in high population density locations. Their ‘job’ is to deal drugs to other 11 year olds. That lasts until they are gunned down in a gang drug territory battle & then the taxpayers get to bury the kid while the ‘mother’ weeps & declares that ‘her son was a good kid & didn’t do nuffin wrong. Those adults are in complete denial. They are also a big part of the problem.

Cops & politicians can spout about how hard they are working to change things for the better, but all the $$$ in the city won’t get one kid to ‘snitch’ on another. Then, NYC & other locations weaken the punishment for bad behavior & it spirals out of control

Welfare handed out without a clear check on where that money is going. Keep paying 80% of a person’s rent on Section 8 & you free up alot of other money that is being passed around without any accountability.... or taxes.

Allowing a woman to have more than 1 kid on the taxpayers dime. Perhaps sterilization when she is pregnant with #2 is in the future??? There are many women out there who have more than 5 kids & none of them are married & often don’t know who the biological father is to any of them. Don’t believe me? Watch “The Maury Show” & ‘Paternity Court’. Maury had a 13/14 year old girl on who was mating herself to any male who would have her & she proudly told Maury & the whole world that she wanted to have LOTS of babies. Because ‘welfare’ would pay for them all.

Perhaps sterilization for those repeat MALE offenders is also in order? I cannot even adopt a male dog out of the shelter without it being neutered. AND that isn’t cheap, either.

BUT-—

Telling successful people that they have to have a whole stampede of people riding on their coat tails isn’t the answer.!!!!!!

Quit punishing people for working hard & being successful to whatever degree they can attain. Let people assist / contribute in whatever way they wish to help others-—but DO NOT write laws that require people to support/contribute to anything they don’t support.
