The Swamp hates Stone because he wrote two books that eviscerated both the Clintoons and the Bushies. They want him out of the way.

” Never heard of prosecutors resigning. “ >>
...

This one probably needs an attorney, himself, for framing a target, or unnecessary roughness.

NBC would bury all down side against Any of these Trump Campaign persecutors,... er,... Prosecutors.

Aaron Zelinsky sounds like a hardened democrat! He’s a little pouty because he cannot stick it to a Trump supporter. Just like a little kid, he’ll take his toys and go home.

I don’t think taking nearly ten years out of a guy’s life, for the things he supposedly did, is reasoned.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You can see below what he’s guilty of ... ‘reasoned’ or vindictive ... I vote for the latter.

In November of 2019 a federal jury found Roger Stone guilty of:

~five counts of lying to the House Intelligence Committee (bragging mostly),

~one count of obstructing their bogus investigation (based on fraudulent Trump-Russia);

~and one count of tampering with his former friend/witness Randy Credico (sent a text saying: “Prepare to die cocksucker”).

This may have been planned by Muellers Team. Trying to further accused Barr of nefarious thing. I’m sure these guys have a cushy job from Lawfare or other resistance group line up already

Never heard of prosecutors resigning.

Me, either. When they "resign," does that mean they are quitting, leaving government service? (As in, "take this job and shove it. And screw the pension, too.")

That's not as tragic for them as it sounds, because these people are high enough up to cash in as private sector lawyers.

Or, does it mean they are resigning a special appointment within the DOJ and merely dropping back a notch but still employed by the US Govt?

Conflict of interest should NEVER have been on the case to begin with

Never heard of prosecutors resigning.

Any pursuing Stone had to be a Mueller/Comey/Holder loyalist, so was probably expecting to be fired soon anyway. And as a good DOJ lawyer, he no doubt had a lobbying / K-street job in the works already.

Why not go out in a blaze of fake leftist outrage?

This gig was ongoing from the Mueller investigation. They're just going to new/old jobs.

It appears that the ridiculous sentence was the prosecutors call...so not actually the DOJ.

Kinda like Comey sentencing Martha Stewart to jail for something that HUNDREDS of politicians have done HUNDREDS of times.

Good riddance. It’s supposed to be the Department of Justice, Not the Department of Put Trump’s Associates in Prison.

Looked him up (Kravis). Typical selection from the Obama administration. An administration that was highly intellectually challenged but thought they were ‘all that’ based on meaningless pedigree. If pedigree was a valid indicator of talent and effectiveness, we wouldn’t have been so diminished as a nation at the end of the last two-term presidency, and academics wouldn’t have such a laughable record in the real world. Just sayin..

I assumed as much. I'm thinking prosecutors are given little guidance by their superiors. It's go git 'im, so to speak. The attitude being, "we have an adversarial system; the system will take care of things."

So, I expect someone high up in the DOJ, or even DJT, finally noticed what a travesty this is, and also how it is viewed by core conservative voters.
