I think it says more about Trump’s ability to energize and grow his base nationally than just in New Hampshire.

Dems spent many millions and knocked on many doors in a high profile, multi-candidate primary to get to 200K, which is down 50K from 2016. Trump pulled 130K (actual number) with much less effort.

Party registration in the closed NH primaries drives the results. Dem registration is on the rise while Rep registration falls and Ind registration soars.

Don’t discount the effect of Operation Chaos where a limited number of Trump supporters cast their votes for weak Dem candidates.

Can Trump win NH in the general election? Of course he can but it depends a lot on who he faces. In the open election, all will be free to vote for who they wish and Trump is showing a good ability to pull Dem votes.

I definitely expect him to work his ass off and leave nothing on the table.
