Trump Tweets concerning John Kelly
Twitter ^ | Feb 13, 2020 | President Trump

Posted on 02/13/2020 9:03:33 AM PST by McGruff

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

When I terminated John Kelly, which I couldn’t do fast enough, he knew full well that he was way over his head. Being Chief of Staff just wasn’t for him. He came in with a bang, went out with a whimper, but like so many X’s, he misses the action & just can’t keep his mouth shut,.

...which he actually has a military and legal obligation to do. His incredible wife, Karen, who I have a lot of respect for, once pulled me aside & said strongly that “John respects you greatly. When we are no longer here, he will only speak well of you.” Wrong! 11:04 AM · Feb 13, 2020

“It is not one vs the other. It is a matter of striking the right balance.”

Ah, that famous nuanced approach that worked out so well for the GOPe in the past. If you were a general under attack with the men under your command being slaughtered I am sure that your first thought would be to have a “proportional response”.

I hadn’t considered that but it would not surprise me a bit.

Exactly. People aren’t waiting to hear dull Bush-esqe policy pronouncements and legal arguments. We have waited DECADES to hear traitors called traitors. To hear drunk mentally unbalanced speakers called drunk and unbalanced.
Call a spade a spade.
That’s why DC hates him as much as America hates DC.

That’s my theory. Why else? Why now? And why on a stage from a podium. He’s a stinking democrat of some sort, just like yapping dog Mattis the “lifelong bachelor”.

“That’s not what nwrep is saying at all. Again, typical response on FR, attack the message and messenger for disagreeing with POTUS’s childish, inappropriate behavior.”

That comments sounds like it was shouted from a ‘safe space’ while you were literally shaking. ;)

“Trump don’t need your advice”

Neither does my wife but it doesn’t stop me from giving it anyway.

Thats the way you see it, and thats the way alot of people who would never vote for PDJT in the first place see it as well.
Secondly, he is highlighting just how deep and slimy the SWAMP is. Even the spouse of a swamp critter is not to be trusted.
Whats wrong with that?

For too long, we have been led to believe that these characters in DC representing us and our interests had decorum and honor.
Thats absolutely untrue, and probably hasn’t been in a very long time.
The SWAMP has been fillin since the late 1800’s, we just haven’t been paying attention.

He’s not going to sit idly by. This one fights. You should know that by now.

“Seems like so many people who worked for him think Trump is terrible.”

And everyone of them are career gov’t employees who would say the same about any Conservative who threw their asses out.

Twitter is the only thing that gives him a fighting chance.

Why do supposedly supporters of our President get their feathers so muffed up when he uses Twitter to defend himself or those he trusts?

It’s easy for me to believe Trump. He stood in front of a room filled with Christians and said, something along the lines of, I disagree with loving your enemies. He said of himself, sometimes you hate people, I’m sorry folks, I’m doing my best I’m trying to learn but it’s not easy, they impeach you for nothing and the you’re supposed to like them? I’m sorry folks, I do my best. He’s not afraid of his words so I’m confident something like this happened.

If Trump loses, the number one cause will be his inability to control himself on Twitter. Twitter could be his Waterloo.

It's Peak Trump!

Some of us said all along that Kelly was an open borders dirtbag.

Trumps obsession with generals has proven to be a mistake. They are neither smart, loyal nor effective. What they are is ego centric, used to being obeyed and worshipped and never held accountable. Kelly is just one of many overrated military men. If trump had and military experience his impression of generals would not be so inaccurate.

Geez, without Twitter the stooge media would completely control the narrative. Thank God Trump has Twitter available and knows how to use it. My worst fear is Trump getting deplatformed from Twitter. We’ve heard for 3 1/2 years that Twitter would be his downfall. When did he ever suffer anything significant from his tweets? Trump is a master at responding to attacks and driving the narrative with Social Media, it is his best weapon.

Amazing how every one of these brainiacs think THEY will be the one that Trump won’t defend himself from and waylay in full public view. Don’t think all these folks are the best and brightest we think they are.
