Trump Tweets concerning John Kelly
Twitter ^ | Feb 13, 2020 | President Trump

Posted on 02/13/2020 9:03:33 AM PST by McGruff

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

When I terminated John Kelly, which I couldn’t do fast enough, he knew full well that he was way over his head. Being Chief of Staff just wasn’t for him. He came in with a bang, went out with a whimper, but like so many X’s, he misses the action & just can’t keep his mouth shut,.

...which he actually has a military and legal obligation to do. His incredible wife, Karen, who I have a lot of respect for, once pulled me aside & said strongly that “John respects you greatly. When we are no longer here, he will only speak well of you.” Wrong! 11:04 AM · Feb 13, 2020

And that tactic is winning.

Good post. It is amazing how the effectiveness of Trump's tweets is missed by so many jellyfish who floated into this thread. Ridicule of one’s enemies is probably the most potent political weapon. It reminds me of the shortsightedness of those who wanted to fire a natural born fighter like Patton during WWII - the most important war in human history. The current cultural war is pretty important too and all that matters is WINNING.

“....What they are is ego centric, used to being obeyed and worshipped and never held accountable. ...”

My professional experience with a few exceptions.
The truth is for the most part they are SES’ers with nice duds to wear.

FReepers who complain about Trump’s Twitter posts should keep in mind that there may be as many as a half-dozen different people in the White House who post as “Donald Trump” on his Twitter page. What’s ironic about this is that when Kelly was Trump’s chief of staff, HE was one of those who would post Twitter messages as “Donald Trump.”

Yeah, it's really ruined him in the polls hasn't it?

That's sarcasm by the way.

"WHY couldn’t John Kelly keep his mouth shut?"

Because like Vindman, he has no sense of loyalty.

Wow. He’s dragging the guy’s wife into the fray.

Love my President and I find myself shaking my head at the same time. That was totally unnecessary.

Well that's news to me. Do you have any verification of your claim?

"Wow. He’s dragging the guy’s wife into the fray."

Did you miss this part?

His incredible wife, Karen, who I have a lot of respect for...

Like I said. He's dragging the guy’s wife into the fray.

He's trolling John Kelly by using his wife to upstage him. But you knew that.

Or do you think the point of this Tweet was all about how nice Karen Kelly is?

John Kelly Finally Lets Loose on Trump
The Atlantic ^ | 2/13/20 | Peter Nicholas
Posted on 2/13/2020, 6:07:30 AM by DoodleDawg

“Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman, the former National Security Council aide and impeachment witness President Donald Trump fired Friday, was just doing his job, former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly told students and guests at a Drew University event here Wednesday night.

Over a 75-minute speech and Q&A session, Kelly laid out, in the clearest terms yet, his misgivings about Trump’s words and actions regarding North Korea, illegal immigration, military discipline, Ukraine, and the news media.

Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general, said that Vindman is blameless and was simply followed the training he’d received as a soldier; migrants are “overwhelmingly good people” and “not all rapists”; and Trump’s decision to condition military aid to Ukraine on an investigation into his political rival Joe Biden upended long-standing U.S. policy.”

____________________________________________________________________________________

I refuse to call this man ‘General’ after his ass showing, depraved lecture. I take his comments to say without saying, President Trump should have been impeached and removed from office. For those too upty to get the full picture of WHY this Trump tweet, went out, sleep on. There is that spirt of slumber that some suffer.

Kelly took an oath ... too many take false oaths ... oh, by the way God says He hates those that take false oaths... Kelly ought to sleep on that one.

I’ve read it in several places. It may have come up in the lawsuit where Trump was forced to unblock his followers. Do a search on “Dan Scavino Jr.” and see if anything comes up. I also think his lawyers admitted to posting some messages a while back, too.
