Does anyone else find it incongruous that the cops are being alerted towards threats and they are armed and capable of defense while the population in general is generally prohibited from arms?

Glad I live in Missouri.

Violent criminals are the democrats primary constituency, Police are the enemies of the NYC mayor. Two cops have been shot in attempted murders. Violent criminals are still being released without bail. No, I’m not surprised that they have finally noticed there is a credible threat toward officers. That threat is named Bill de Blasio.

Think about this for a minute; if you’re a cop and someone walks up to your car, and you take any defensive action and you’re wrong, you’re in big trouble. If you take no action that person can draw and kill you before you can do anything once the threat is obvious. What a catch 22.

Law enforcement sources tell ABC News that federal authorities notified the NYPD that they took an alleged MS-13 member in custody that they believe had made threats against police officers in the Bronx and in other parts of the city.

Police used to be very proactive about stuff like this. Even the mob were very careful to not kill a cop, because the police would “descend on them like a ton of bricks”.

However, with an anti-police government, their best option is “counter-assassination”. Today, because the police are so hated by their government, they should subcontract to police from out of the area, who would disguise themselves, use gang drop guns, and make sure that the targets are very dead, and that useful evidence is kept to a minimum.

Then after they leave, they are paid in clean cash and they leave the area.

It is a very cost effective way of doing things.

More NYPD officers have been assassinated due to Mayor Disgraziato than any mayor before him, yet the citizens of NYC have reelected him.
NYC have declined and become a crime ridden city once more. I don’t believe it will survive.
Look at the blue cities of NYC, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle. They’ve are no longer jewels of cities, but Hell holes.
