Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
HOLA, and Mucho (((HUGS))) to everyone !!
:-)
Bible in a Year:
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
When public debate erupted over a controversial Singapore law, it divided believers with differing views. Some called others narrow-minded or accused them of compromising their faith.
Controversies can cause sharp divisions among Gods family, bringing much hurt and discouraging people. Ive been made to feel small over personal convictions on how I apply the Bibles teachings to my life. And Im sure Ive been equally guilty of criticizing others I disagree with.
I wonder if the problem lies not in what or even in how we express our views, but in the attitudes of our hearts when we do so. Are we just disagreeing with views or seeking to tear down the people behind them?
Yet there are times when we need to address false teaching or explain our stand. Ephesians 4:26 reminds us to do so with humility, gentleness, patience, and love. And, above all else, to make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit (v. 3).
Some controversies will remain unresolved. Gods Word, however, reminds us that our goal should always be to build up peoples faith, not tear them down (v. 29). Are we putting others down to win an argument? Or are we allowing God to help us understand His truths in His time and His way, remembering that we share one faith in one Lord? (vv. 46).
How can you explain your stand on sensitive issues humbly, gently, and lovingly? What will you pray for those who seem to disagree?
God, guide me as I speak the truth so that I do so out of love and seek only to build up, not to tear down.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...and a Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours.
Did you and Penny get to go hiking today? Did you go garage sailing?
We had a nice sunny day.

I spent the whole day indoors, as I have a nasty cold.
However, it was bright, sunny, and cold outside. It would have been a lovely day if I hadn’t felt so miserable.
Hola, onona, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Enjoying your weekend?

Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
And a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours...
Did you do a good job resting today? Staying warm?
Shavua Tov.
Wishing all our Jewish troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
a peaceful and prosperous week.
Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.
Good evening, Janey ((HUGS))...Shavua Tov and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Are you off for your next few days of flights?
God Bless our military men and women who have given their all.
Thanks, unique.
