So here's why today is especially uplifting for me (I've been in a bit of a depressive slump lately):
+ After a week of rain, the SUN IS SHINING!!!
+ Got a beautiful Slow Cooker Pork Loin with Rosemary and Garlic in the works for this afternoon - it's seared off, in the slow cooker & already smelling fabulous.
+ The IRON DOG 2020 Snow Machine Race (Pro Class) starts today - 11:00 AK time. I'll have the GPS up along with the Iron Dog Group page on FB (where all the locals post - better than TV/announcers). I spent yesterday afternoon watching the adventures of the Rec/Trail class so I'm ready for the Pros.
+ ..... and POTUS Trump will be at the Daytona 500, might even make a lap around the track in the Presidential Limo (The Beast) if they can figure out the banking ... a lap on the apron is an alternative. ALL those Trump/MAGA fans - it's going to be fabulous & the smell of smoke from the DemonRats hair catching on fire will be in the air (assuming they have hair left, with all the 'winning' that Trump has been doing lately!)
