I hate this construction.

Biden was never the "front runner". He never has had success in his party as a Presidential candidate, and there was no reason to suppose he would this year either.

And what is "active voting"? Was Biden leading in "passive votes" before, and now has lost out because of active votes?

The media circus is ridiculous, an attempt to impose candidates on us before, long before, anybody wants to think about it.

They’re just moving the goalposts further and further leftward (dragging the “center”/moderates in the same direction); most of us would be at the far right of any schematic they’d draw - for holding views that were “normal” ten years ago.

Not true - Reagan, 1976 (lost) and 1980 (won).

I mean won nomination, lost, then was nominated in a subsequent presidential election. The last one to do it was Richard Nixon, who lost in 1960, but won the GOP nomination (and the presidency) in 1968.

Reagan wasn't the nominee in 1976. Jerry Ford was.

I’m pretty sure they did polling and it came out that 47% of Bernie supporters would not unconditionally support the Democrat nominee if it wasn’t Sanders.

I think they will vote for whoever the Dem swamp beotch slaps them into a no win situation. Just like when Hillary stole it from him. Bernie supporters are like the guy all dresses in leather with a leather mask on and all tied up and their safe word is MORE!. They will cower to the swamp again.
