Comments also came out today that someone 95 should just be allowed to die if they have cancer.

A young person, we should do something. Society’s not willing to do that, yet.”
It may begin at 95. Then lowered to 85. Eventually 70.
There may be changes at the lower end of the range, too. How can we possibly justify spending a fortune on a sick two-year-old when the same amount of money would aid dozens of middle-aged people?
Committees will decide who lives and who dies. We may not call them "death panels".

That is EXACTLY what the British say to elderly patients. They never say they won’t treat you because of the cost, they’ll say “We’re sorry, nothing can be done”.
I read the above probably 15 years ago and was hoping to forget about it...not anymore!
