There’s zero Constitutional authority for Congress to give taxpayer money to other countries.

Where do you get that from?

Congress controls tax money.

The nation started paying other countries in 1786, before the Constituion was ratified in 1789, and continued to do so ever since.

No one thought it was unconstitutional, at least that I have read.

We went to war against Muslim countries in the Mediterranean in 1801, some of our first work to secure freedom of the seas.

Gee, I don’t know. Maybe from the plain language of the Constitution. Congress is empowered to do ONLY those things mentioned specifically in Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution.

Handing out taxpayer money to foreigners ain’t there at all.
