I watch TV coverage of a Mexican election. Each voter has a voter’s ID. When you check in, your voter’s ID is matched against a copy in the registrar’s book, and of course they actually look at you to see your aren’t using someone else’s ID. If Mexico can do this, how and why is it beyond the reach of American states?
