Trump commuted the remainder of Blagojevichs 14-year prison term. the Illinois Democrat had begun serving that sentence in 2013 after he was found guilty of attempting to trade the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Barack Obama for money or favors.
He had a few years left but he only attempted to trade for favors, Trumps choice not yours
Reading is your friend, and Pardons are given as a Presidential role in the Constitution to be used at his discretion

Interesting handle....
I understand the President's pardon powers. However, I disagree with Trump's decision on this. When elected representatives sell nominations, the sentence should be VERY long. The same for felony tax evasion.
