What's pushing Bernie Sanders to the Democrats' top?

Up until now, Democrats have been focused on finding the right candidate who can Get Trump.

For awhile, many were gravitating toward Joe Biden for this very reason, citing his Scranton roots and supposed common man demeanor. It wasn't based on any authentic affection for Biden. It was who could Beat Trump. As Biden fell apart over impeachment, with revelations about how he amassed wealth for himself and his relatives in public office, some moved over to Pete Buttigieg or Amy Klobuchar.

Then Michael Bloomberg came on the scene, scarfing up a large part of the collapsing Biden vote by pouring money into the presidential race. He hired staff at exorbitant salaries. He spent so much on TV ads he drove rates up, leaving the remaining Democrats with just scraps. Bloomberg's effectively bottomless pit of money and his tactical history of bribing activists to keep quiet about him were effectively a leveraged buyout of a down-and-out Democratic Party.

This column shows what a really vile person Bloomturd is, indeed so vile that he's pushing many DemonShit voters to support Bernie. The most notable of those who's decisively moving against Bloomturd is Robert Reich who's gone so far as to record and post a five minute video on Twitter denouncing Bloomie. The article includes a highly viewable copy, along with equally antagonistic tweets by other leftists.

“People, including Democrats, despise what Sanders stands for.”

False, as shown by information to which the article links:

“Democrats and, more specifically, progressives view socialism favorably. Half of Democrats said so, while more than two-thirds of progressives did.” - https://www.npr.org/2020/02/19/807047941/poll-sanders-rises-but-socialism-isnt-popular-with-most-americans

It’s puzzling to me that so few of the discussions about the upcoming election ever touch on topics like charisma and personality. I despise Bernie Sanders and his Communist platform, but he is the most charismatic personality and the best public speaker by far in the current stable of Democrat candidates.

The same thing applies to Donald Trump. At the end of the day it’s Trump’s confidence and personality that won him the last election and will win him the next one.

It’s simple really.

1) The core of the Democrat voting base wants socialism. I mean, they really really REALLY want socialism. NOW!

2) All of their other candidates are about as engaging as watching air leak from an automobile tire.

3) People on the Left are as eager to give the D.C. establishment the heave-ho as we were in 2016. And Bernie is their designated outsider.

4) Most of us just don’t get this, but within the universe of left-leaning political thought in this country, Bernie is regarded as a relatively honest guy.

5) Millenial voters believe that he really WILL forgive their student loans if elected. The others? Not so much.

The non Dem establishment voters have passion. Take a look at the lack of enthusiasm for ALL the others in the field.
Bernie has a real commie movement, but it’s hardly a winning message for ALL of America.

Bernie and his wife are crooks, but they are small-time crooks by DC standards.

By DC standards they don’t quite qualify as pick pockets.

I must say, that I think Trump’s success is a source of inspiration for the Bernie Bros, “If Trump could do it, why not Bernie?”

Simple. The “free shit” and the “everyone is a winner and there is no such thing as evil” demographic are now of voting age

True, since there’s “not a dime’s worth of difference” between all of those America-hating communists, who’re simply divided between Bolsheviks and Mensheviks. May they all be damned to Hell.

he [Bernie] is the most charismatic personality and the best public speaker by far in the current stable of Democrat candidates.

That's why Obama won when so many people here thought he would be easy to beat. He was charming, funny, confident, and charismatic. He could be very persuasive.

It's just that everything he said was a pack of lies. If you don't know any better, the charming lies sound reasonable and persuasive.
