A national poll released Wednesday shows Sen. Bernie Sanders is currently leading the Democrat presidential primary field by 15 points.
Sanders is now at 32 percent support while former Vice President Joe Biden is only at 17 percent, down 11 points from a month ago, according to the ABC News/Washington Post poll.
In January, Biden was leading Sanders by four points, 28 percent to 24 percent.
Sanders is easily leading Biden among whites, and non-whites but falls short among black support, where the former vice president is clinging to a five-point lead.
The sense that Biden would be the strongest candidate to defeat Trump has shattered among Democrat voters.

Yep, Bernie is surging because he stands for something and that resonates. Joe, like most of the rest, strategy is to put their finger in the wind and hope the metoo crowd doesn’t cut it off.
Bernie, is an idiot, and his world view is evil and dangerous.
Not that I want to compare him with Trump, but in many ways, I think Bernie's supporters are thinking, "If Trump could have done it, why not Bernie?" And there certainly are parallels between Trump and Bernie in terms of the fact that, as you said, they came out as standing for something, even though in this case, what these two men stand for are polar opposites of each other.
Here’s my scenario:
Bernie gets a majority of delegates, but not enough to win on the first ballot.
Second ballot, all bets are off and everybody is up for grabs, and the so-called ‘super delegates’ get to vote.
The second ballot will eliminate everyone except the top two.
Horse trading and back room deals give the nomination to anybody but Bernie.
The Bernie Bots go berserk and riot tearing the place apart. Makes Chicago 1968 look like a picnic...............

Taking your comments a bit farther and you are spot on with them, IMO, the biggest parallel between Bernie and Trump is that the establishment of each one’s parties hate their guts with a passion.
The Dems sure love their communism..my cousins girlfriend being one of them..she hates Trump, but goes on and on about how she wants to keep her private insurance LOL..now that is called irony
And that goes along with the fact that the majority of Americans, whether on the Left or Right are dissatisfied with the two parties in record numbers.
And why are they called Bernie Bros and not Bernie Sisses. Or Bernie Non-Binaries or Bernie Gender-Fluids? Ack. I think I know why they’re not called Bernie Gender-Fluids.
