An attorney for Julian Assange alleged in court Wednesday that President Trump offered a pardon to Julian Assange if he would deny any Russian involvement in the Democratic National Committee (DNC) hack in 2016.
Edward Fitzgerald, Assange's lawyer, said in a London court that Trump's message had been passed on to Assange by former Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.).
Fitzgerald said a statement made by Jennifer Robinson, another lawyer for Assange, shows "Mr. Rohrabacher going to see Mr Assange and saying, on instructions from the president, he was offering a pardon or some other way out, if Mr Assange... said Russia had nothing to do with the DNC leaks."
White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham on Wednesday denied the account.
The President barely knows Dana Rohrabacher other than hes an ex-congressman. Hes never spoken to him on this subject or almost any subject. It is is a complete fabrication and a total lie. This is probably another never ending hoax and total lie from the DNC, Grisham said in a statement.
The DNC did not immediately respond to a request for comment, and Rohrbacher could not immediately be reached for comment.

Seth Rich Didn’t Kill Himself
Other source I saw was from The Guardian
I’m sure that makes it all on the up and up /s
Assange pretty much said Seth Rich was the source as corroborated by forensic audits that concluded that the material was removed from the DNC by a thumb drive.
I’m not knowledgeable about Solomon and his case.
I can see where the Hill has trashed him.
First off I think this is a fake news lie; next if Edward Fitzgerald, Assange’s lawyer actually did say this he is not only a liar but a moron as well. But, of course he never said this and it is being circulated to help make sure Assange is NEVER pardoned because a free talking Assange would destroy the Democrats.
seems the deep state has figured out that Trump might spring Assange in exchange for testifying about where the DNC e-mails really came from - so they are striking first with some misinformation.
As I understand it, it was the other way around
Rohrabacher was shopping this idea to the WH, NOT the other way around
Smile, yeah...
The media just continues....
These papers and their insertion of “power words” like furiously...
Comical, yet sinister
More hearsay........cant make this sh*t up, huh? /s
The DemonRats are spreading this to try to insure that he never gets a pardon and tells all the whole story on them. Think about it.
Yes, my first thought exactly.
There goes any chance at a pardon.
Lawyer should be disbarred.
Interesting thought...
Could be.
I wouldn’t trust Julio Sausage.
If he’ll publish leaks on one, he’ll publish leaks on the other.
Let him rot.
Why would his lawyer even bring this up when Trump could potentially free his client?
This seems like a self-defeating move.
'Putin's favorite congressman' met with Julian Assange and 'plans to divulge' details to Trump
Seems Assange had already told Hannity months before Rohrabacher even met with Assange that Russia was not their source for the leaked DNC emails.
Anyone who thinks Assange is a guy good is completely ignorant.
Only one thing is certain: Julian Assange is not well represented by his attorney.
Assange has already said that the DNC files were not obtained from a hack by a state actor.
Back in July 2016, Politico wrote, “There is no evidence that Russian actors are behind the hack of thousands of Democratic National Committee emails leaked to WikiLeaks last week, according to founder Julian Assange.”
“Well there is no proof of that whatsoever, Assange told NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. We have not disclosed our source, and of course, this is a diversion that’s being pushed by the Hillary Clinton campaign.
