Bernie: my HC plan, Medicare for all, is the best.
Votes: okay, we can see where this is going and we can’t get an answer there, so, what are your plans for creating jobs?
Bernie: would you like to hear about my heath care plan or me going after rich people. Not myself, of course, though.
Voters: fine... How will you deal with terrorism.
Bernie: were you asking just now about Medicare for all?

I could see a scenario where Bernie wins the convention nomination....comes up six weeks later with a heart-attack, and some last minute ‘prep’ occurs where the VP emerges as the candidate and a new VP pops up out of thin air. All of this would ricochet around the public and trigger a number of people to stay home.
It’d really harm the House and Senate races as well.
You would think Bernie’s oppo researchers could find things like this.
