ANd that’s why judgie’s handlers ordered the sentence.

I’m thinking the Rats have a script prepared for Stone’s pardon.
*****************************************************
With near certainty they do. Of course, most of their scripts from the most recent years are idiotic and ineffective.

Stone’s own legal counsel. What kind of hack assholes wouldn’t do a simple Google search on the names of potential jurors?

Stone's legal counsel requested the dismissal of this juror. Judge Jackson dismissed that request and left her on the jury.

Oh. I didn’t know that. That’s TERRIBLE!! So it was/is the judge who is compromised. Mistrial.

Come on, people. 3.5 yrs. He’ll get 18 months off that for good behavior. And probably another 6 months off if agrees to parole for a year. So 18 months in minimum security.

Parole has been abolished in the federal system, and time off for good behavior cannot exceed 15% of the sentence. So, aabsent a pardon or commutation or reversal on appeal, he will serve 34 months (85% of 40 months).

The Judge has been compromised since jump street. She dismissed the case against Clinton et al over the Benghazi attack. She had Manafort put in solitary confinement. Bad actor.

I’d like to remind everyone that Bill Clinton as President, lied under oath to a Grand Jury, and what did he get? He got fined $90,686, which his wife ended up paying for him. Now, compare that to Roger Stone’s sentencing, and tell me Stone’s sentence is fair.

Your suggestions are what are often worked out in private in a judge’s chambers.

Then, everyone’s a winner and everyone loses a little.

Oh really? Please cite the specific Federal, State, City, County, Town, etc., law and violation number that is assigned to “being a jackass.”

Most Misdemeanors.

Exactly, and if Stone gets this, every bad decision in court the DOJ/FBI have brought out for at least a decade is in danger of being reversed.

I’m not a Q follower so you’ve missed the boat on that point. Further misplaced assumptions are rarely a good way to begin discussions. So I think I’ll leave it at that.

Doesn’t matter what Stone did or didn’t do. That jury was tainted. The verdict should be tossed.

The verdict should not be tossed; in fact, it should not have been questioned at all until some of the coup conspirators are tried and convicted of lying to Congress.

However, the verdict was fruit of a poisoned tree: the entire trial and jury selection was based on lies, and Stone should be granted a new trial and a different venue.

Less time served and hassled, I hope.

And good time...which he will be...should be a possibility.

Should the President pardon? I wouldn’t do it until December. If he wins, it’s recess, so it will be crowded out by the season.

If the President doesn’t win, then he should pardon all these people before he departs.

Stone gets a jail sentence while Comey, Strok, Brennan, Clapper, McCabe and others not only don’t get jail time, but don’t even get charged. That’s the issue, a corrupt, double standard legal system.

The selective prosecution is the real problem. I think President Trump is doing a good job bringing that to light.

As posted earlier, I'd support commuting or pardoning Stone (based on the blatant selective prosecution - especially concerning McCabe).

Because only Conservatives are held to account for their values.

Liberals have no values, thus nothing to be held to account for.

What’s the specific law that is cited when someone is charged with “being a jerk”, i.e., like creating a disturbance, harassment, incitement of a riot, etc. Misdemeanor is the “level” or seriousness of a charge, like Felony charge in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.

The verdict will be tossed.

Agree.

In the meantime....appeal, appeal and appeal.
