This is actually a lot less than the original recommendation, which the judge said wasn’t formally withdrawn. It actually is a more lenient sentence than I expected from how the judge talked today.
Roger Stone intimidated witness and lied to congress. He was sentenced by a partial judge and convicted by a partial Jury. This is not American Justice. His sentence, of 3.5 years, his arrest, reflect a zeolous effort by the DOJ to prosecute Trump ‘semi-affiliated’ campaign people based upon the Mueller investigation which was based upon illegal spying and fabricated information.
The list of former Obama administration individuals who did the same as Roger Stone is so long I can’t even count. All of them got Government Retirements (Louis Lerner) and/or cushy contracts or Jobs at the ‘Networks’. The DOJ refused to prosecute even the most serious acts of lies, leaks, and political interference.
It’s not that I think Roger Stone crimes may not deserve to be punished. It’s that I believe he didn’t receive a fair trial. I also believe that Justice should be blind, and Democrats should suffer the same as Roger Stone did for their crimes.
I honestly don’t care if Trump pardons or doesn’t for those that broke the law. I would like to see Americans get fair trials, due process, and fair sentencing...Justice....and not “we aren’t going to prosecute you because your Democrat anymore”.

The tainted jury allegations, which came up long after the trial concluded, will have to be taken up on appeal. There’s no way a trial judge is going to get bogged down in that process just before sentencing.
IMO liberals are going to be triggered by shorter the sentence, they’ll probably accuse the trial judge, an Obama appointee and Trump hater, of being intimidated by Trump. Be interesting to see them make fools of themselves (with Trump and Barr being proved right about 7 to 9 years being excessive).

What is justice?
With create-a-crime cops and little to no real legal representation for the poor, Justice has become a really bad joke.
If one is denied a fair trial then how can there be justice? When juries are fixed and lawyers don’t care about their clients then how can there be justice? When courts are held behind closed doors, and when, lies become more important than truth then there is no justice.
When so much power is given to state agencies in courts and the people have no voice in them then how can there be justice? The common man gets no justice against government, court or police corruption. The wolf is now watching over the hen house and justice is no longer there.
This Judgement was a hideous crime. It has enslaved the people of this country and has made a mockery out of all our legal system.
How many years does McCabe get?
40 months = 3.3 years versus the 9-10 years originally recommended.
What was the final recommendation after the corrupt prosecutors left?
What was the defenses recommendation ?
From the analysis I saw, that is the original prosecutions recommendation with the one escalating factor removed - I think that was Stones alleged threat of force. The analyzer head 49 months by removing that factor.
So who now still believes that Barr is our savior?
