Lying to liars and hypocrites, right? Should be a law against congress critters and other government officials lying to the public. By the way, being arrogant and/or a jerk doesn’t mean you should be jailed. We couldn’t build jails fast enough to keep up with the demand.

I did not say he should be found guilty or go to jail for being arrogant or a jerk.

He lied to Congress. He wasn't even issued a subpoena. Was his attorney okay with that?

And regarding lying by Congress - it depends where it occurred (see Speech or Debate Clause). Needs a Constitutional Amendment if it occurred in Congress, to/from Congress, etc.

But the selective prosecution on a scale its been occurring at the national level is why I think President Trump could justify a pardon/commutation of the sentence.
