The political leanings of the various polling outfits has been a discussion item in my family over the years. This is partly because my late husband was housemates with George Gallup’s son, Alec I think, who we met one time in Princeton. Thus this was a topic of special interest to us.

Here is a link regarding the Republican leanings of 2 polling organizations, including Gallup. Whether this is caused by political preference as suggested for Rasmussen, or possibly outdated methodology for Gallup is not for me to decide or answer.

dude, the Manchester Guardian is a kommie UK rag that is even MORE UBER-LEFTIST than the economist; absolutely NOTHING they publish can be believed, other than simply to assume that the opposite of everything that they say is what is actually true ... so OF COURSE the uber-leftist UK Guardian is going to assert that that pretty much every poll that isn’t massively leftist biased is “conservative” ...

you’re going to have to find a non-leftist source if you want to have ANY credibility at all regarding your ridiculous assertion that it is KNOWN that Gallup is biased for conservatives ...still it’s a total hoot that the only thing you could find is an eight year old article by the ultra-leftist Manchester Guardian to “prove” that it is KNOWN that Gallup is biased towards conservatives ...
