Update (1240ET): As we mentioned below, the CDC had some pretty chilling words for the American public during a press conference on Friday. During the 12:15pm ET update, the organization warned that it had centralized 'surge' virus response due to a lack of testing kits and the fact that every state but three is unprepared for the epidemic.

During the press conference, the CDC described the virus as a "tremendous public healht threat" and warned that human to human transmission in the US is "very possible, even likely."

Yet to the House and most Dems this is no reason whatsover to enforce border checks and detention in the event of infectious disease possibility or the normal drugs, weapons, explosives, gangs/jihaadis.

Its about electoral redistribution, gotta spread that voting power around.

Well from what I’ve seen thus far the US has a pretty tight system to deal with the Coronavirus....although that of course doesn’t mean people will be co-operative. So far I think it’s being handled as well as possible considering it is a virus which never plays by our rules.
