For those who are able to be helped, it sounds intriguing.

For hard core drug addict or schizophrenic people, chuch compassion will not help.

Aren’t religious organizations such as the Salvation army doing this job now? Maybe time and effort would he better spent donating to such organizations, even including providing federal funds to groups with a proven track record of having success in dealing with life’s toughest problems?

Most cities and towns do have missions and shelters doing this work, and those who truly want help will go to them and abide by their rules and policies. Churches and individuals can donate to or volunteer at their local shelters.
