Blacks arent down with the days. Hes at 2% support among blacks in SC.
Could also be hes a smug arrogant lousy mayor of a small city.
“Jazz” is the kind of name the “trans” pervs usually take.
The only way one could believe this is if one believes that black voters would cast their vote for a three-legged mule in a Klan hood if it promised to give them enough FREE SH*T.
How RAAAAAAAACIST!
The core problem with this article is the assumption that everyone answers poll questions honestly.
The only reason Mayor Pete is above 5% is the fact he is gay. The lib crowd is virtue signaling that they are woke.
It's pretty loud so adjust the volume button accordingly.
Blacks might actually vote against Mayor Pete because of his perversions IF someone were to make an issue of it. Nobody in either party is going to. Blacks in California famously voted overwhelmingly for Barack Obama and against gay marriage in 2008. Well, the gay stuff was explicitly on the ballot.
Mayor Pete’s problems with black voters have nothing to do with his homosexuality. He’s a white male from the Midwest who doesn’t really pander to black voters very much. Until a few months ago, nobody had heard of him. He offers them nothing over the standard Democrat menu, if that much.
Look, black folk not really down with the down low.
It is known.
There is no point in trying to deny it or make nice about it.
Oooo, ouch! You could be right!
Note to Hot Air: Tell it to closeted NFL players.
Former mayor.
Maybe Im missing something, but it blacks normally vote over ninety percent democrat, but sixteen percent say they have a problem voting for a gay candidate, doesnt that prove the issue right there?
Buttplug will not do well with black voters, whether it’s because he has poor relations with the black community in South Bend and/or he’s gay.
I’ll go with conventional wisdom, at least with regards to S. Carolina. There is a large bloc of Christian black people who don’t hold well to homosexuality or other sexual perversions.
Buttplug won’t do well in southern states, period. People south of the Mason-Dixon line have much stronger moral values than the folks up north...I think.
I don’t care what the article says the brothers are not going for a dude on the down low.
When asked a general question on if you would support a gay man for President they answer yes, because they dont want to be seen as bigots. When asked specifically if they support a certain candidate, and knowing that candidate is gay, their support suddenly drops.
I would answer no to both questions, dont care if I get called homophobic.
I agree, and I think he will be out of the race after Super Tuesday.
Hot Air is a queer duck (no pun intended).
What is it supposed to be? A conservative site? An alt-right site?
Their small cadre of writers/bloggers have more than a touch of the swamp about them. They are fond of and susceptible to conventional wisdom.
Their comment section used to be a rollicking place despite its crude (technically speaking) nature. They made a big fuss of switching to Facebook comments to have ‘real names’ tied to postings but as with most sites that was a disaster unto itself.
I see more objectionable, go-along-to-get-along stuff from Hot Air than I ever do anything principled.
Sadly, the Federalist is starting to slip from its moorings too.
Doesnt down low mean hidden? Or closeted
Mayor Pete is out and flaming.
Blacks did vote for a down low brother - Obama.
