That's what I don't get. Why call on him? Why invite him at all? And when he starts spouting off, why not call on a real journalist (surely the White House has allowed SOME into the room, right? Maybe?) who will then stand up and talk over Acosta? On the other hand, the more average Americans see this Acosta propaganda crap, the more fired up they become to vote for Trump in November.
Press credentials are granted by the WH Press Association, which is the press themselves. The WH has no input. As it should be.
I can't stand Acosta, but I don't want any president from any party, deciding who gets to cover their activities.
