I think at this point its a wait and see sort of thing.
The Trump administration is damned if they do, and damned if they don’t.
They quarantine and restrict the travel and they get some liberal judge who makes a nationwide injunction preventing it from taking effect. etc.
There is more to this story that we are not being told. They know the source of the virus and won’t say.
It could be ugly, or it could be nothing in the US. It seems to pick up steam in shithole countries where sanitation and nutrition are lacking.
Time will tell. The question is; for whom the bell tolls... The ChiComs or us.
Rush was wrong about the mortality rate.
It is 2-3%. The normal flu is less than 1% but it kills a lot of people because it spreads easily.
This one looks like it spreads very easily too, and from people who show no symptoms and are therefore hard to quarantine.
Border closures and travel restrictions are the only solutions and we aren’t good at that.
