“So much for bipartisanship.”

How does that comment attach to this story?

Growing a spine on Shampeachment is having amazing results.

Trump having a spine is but one reason he won.

People vote for the candidate they believe will fight for them. It's obvious when Republicans wimp-out people stay home and they lose.

I'd like to believe Republicans are learning this lesson but only time will tell.

In other news:

Rasmussen poll: Trump leads Sanders by 7 points in general election matchup

A recent survey released Wednesday shows that President Trump would defeat Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) by seven points in a general election should the election take place today.

In a Rasmussen Reports survey released Wednesday, Sanders trailed Trump 50 percent to 43 percent in a hypothetical general election matchup, with 7 percent of voters remaining undecided.

According to Five Thirty Eight pollster ratings, Rasmussen as a mean-reverted Republican bias of 1.5 points.

Twenty-two percent of registered Democrats in the poll said that they would support Trump for reelection in the poll, while the president also led Sanders among independent voters.

Until my GOP representatives start caning their democrat counterparts into submission, I will continue to believe that they do not represent my values . . .

I guess they are implying that the two parties going at each other, gets strong approval from voters of each party, contrary to conventional wisdom.

Maybe the GOP in the Senate could get a clue.

In the words of someone we all remember, why is he not ahead by 50 points? Seriously that number should scare the living daylights out of you. Confirms my theory that once enough of us old FReepers die this country is toast.

Ah, most of my nephews and nieces are more like WASPs than WOPs :)

My first grandnephew will be even further removed.

My pop was born in Italy.

Mom’s parents were.

I grew up with it.

Every generation gets further removed..exponentially.

That’s ok. As it should be.

The whole notion of bipartisanship is bull schiff. People with principles expect their congress critter to have a backbone and vote in line with those principles. So called moderates/independents get all wishy washy and end up getting upset when there is division. I know for certain that I don’t want my congressman to vote with Rats just to be bipartisan. I just wish he was a little more vocal in damning the Rats.

I worry the stock market is being manipulated with corona virus to screw with the election.

I would tend to agree with you. Thing is, the Democrats under Pelosi, Dingy Harry Reid, Schumer etc have always been rabidly partisan. Their idea of bipartisanship is, “What is mine is mine, and what is yours is mine too”
Snakes like Paul Ryan just kept backpedaling. Remember when Ryan kept promising to fund the wall only to come up with yet another budget with no wall funding? He was Pelosi’s butt boy.

A good portion of that change is riding Trumps coat tails.

You are 100% right. The difference between Republicans and Democrats is that we don’t expect Democrats to go along with our ideas. In fact, if Democrats did, I would be highly skeptical and question what we were doing and what information was being with held. As for Ryan, he is a RINO piece of schiff.

Yeah, yeah of course they still suck. But for now they suck a little bit less.

And they will continue to suck until they are term limited.

The difference is Democrats don’t how to rationally evaluate things with skepticism. As far as Senators I still don’t trust them. I think they are all sold out to China, the majority love open borders, and enough of them are pro-abortion enough to keep it legal.

Having a real leader who will stand up to the dems instead of another Bush has also made a difference.

We need to 'term limit' deep state bureaucracies.

NOT elected officials.

If you term limit elected officials YOU give MORE power to deep state thugs - NOT less.
