New South Carolina Poll Is Very Bad News For Joe Biden
CNN ^ | February 25, 2020

Posted on 02/26/2020 8:55:31 PM PST by Helicondelta

Bernie Sanders just might win the South Carolina primary on Saturday.

That's the real headline out of a new poll conducted by NBC and Marist College that shows Sanders trailing longtime South Carolina front-runner Joe Biden by a narrow 27% to 23% margin, with five days of campaigning remaining. (Several recent polls have suggested a similar tightening.)

While the top-line number draws the eye, it's a series of other questions sprinkled throughout the poll that seem to suggest a path to a massive upset victory does, in fact, exist.

Should Sanders score the upset, it would end Biden's campaign -- whether or not the former vice president chose to acknowledge that fact. And with a weakened (or non-existent) Biden on Super Tuesday and beyond, Sanders would likely become the landing place for many black voters. Which, when combined with his support among white and Latino voters, woud make him incredibly difficult to beat in the Democratic nomination fight.

Joe knows he may now have to face justice and that means either jail time or Arkancide.

The Partisan Media Shills are already regurg'ing the DNC talking points, that everything had been fine until rightwingers started vandalizing everything -- 'Operation Chaos' GOP group makes its choice for SC Democratic primary [Bernie Sanders]

Gosh, I thought Clyburn’s endorsement would vault Biden to the lead.

The other good news for Biden came in the form of a pair of new polls from East Carolina University and Clemson University. The East Carolina survey showed him with a lead of eight points over Bernie Sanders—thirty-one per cent to twenty-three per cent. The Clemson poll showed Biden with an even bigger lead: eighteen points. He was at thirty-five per cent. The billionaire Tom Steyer, who has spent a lot of money on television ads, was in second place, at seventeen per cent. Sanders was in third, at thirteen per cent.

C'mon Biden. Do the right thing and fall on your sword for your country. Your bracelet buddy Obama hasn't even campaigned or even tweeted out an endorsement for you. This is your 3rd and last presidential campaign, and after this it's the glue factory for you.

So hold a press conference, explain in detail all the crimes you and Obama and Hillary has committed, and endorse Trump's re-election.

These contradictory polls make no sense—at this point I have no clue what will happen in South Carolina.

I don’t think Clyburn’s got the Kool-Aid drinking audience that the media and Democrats claim.

We may want Biden to stay in the race as long as possible. If he leaves the race, Bloomberg is likely to pick up most his votes.

This story is from Tuesday. This morning (Wednesday) polls came out showing Biden with leads of 8-18% in South Carolina. And I heard that Sanders will be in Massachusetts this weekend and not in South Carolina because he’s given up on SC and concentrating on Super Tuesday. So I think this CNN story is just more Fake News.
