Maybe they don't count the people in prison? The article mentioned that, implying that blacks were disproportionately, and “unjustly” incarcerated at five times the rate of “non-people-of-color.”

Shouldn’t that be “people of non-color”? As a person of pallor I don’t like to be referred to as “non-people”. Makes me think I might be an actor or something.
