Yes the ChiComs did not count on Trump. However, demonrats have been going around behind our backs and telling them to be patient that all Presidencies have a time limit even if they are re-elected. So the ChiComs just need to wait until Trump is out of office, whether that be 2020 or 2024, then it will be back to business as usual. Trump may the disruptor president but what comes after is anyone’s guess. More than likely those still remaining will attempt to undo everything Trump did and put DC back to the way it was. Unless something changes in this arena beyond Trump will be back to what it was in 2 to 3 years after Trump leaves office. This includes both repubes and demonrats.
