“wonderful buying opportunity.”

Researching now... I move my money into money markets well before the market went down. Looking at oil companies, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon.... Debating when the false bounce happens

The person at Costco today wiped the handle on my cart.

It was nice, and a little scary at the same time. Cuz..if you want to generate panic...that’s how you generate panic.

Great questions.

No panic here too. I am leaving forward with stocking the shelves, but have the same questions.

My oils have been flat throughout the Trump 3 year rally, I'd prefer, tech, communications, Amazon....

Because maybe there’s a lot more to this than they are willing to tell us peasants. That is a very good question btw.

I asked it many many times and so far nobody can give me a reasonable answer.

In Northern CT today, at 11:30 AM Costco looked like Christmas.

But no one was “overstocking” stuff. It looked like normal shopping.

Even the cashier said it was very busy, but no clear reason.

I bought toilet paper, some bottled water (I keep a case in my truck), and some fruit. Normally every days stuff. But it was a little creepy.

Maybe he is doom if he does or he does not.

What was in those classified briefings on Tuesday. I am very surprise of no leaks.

I literally have no idea about a microwave.

None.

Ditto UV sanitizer.

Sry.

:(

Made my stock-up trip today at Ocean State Job Lot and Walmart (northern CT).

The stores were busier than normal for a mid-day Friday, but I had no trouble finding everything on my list.

Saw none in South Alabama either.

When you spend years building up your brand, and then a germ blindsides you.

So, no panic buying observed. This is N Ga.

The only panic buying is restricted to the big cities where the people believe the media panic and the Dem politicians.

Same thing here, a little extra food, couple extra bottles of tylenol and motrin, some masks, gloves and such over the last month. We will eat the food and I will use the masks for grass cutting and my wife will use the gloves in the kitchen when she bakes. When I go to the grocery store next week same thing, extra items, but not a mad rush.

I will confess, I have 90 rolls of TP stored and I bought extra. My wife goes ballistic if we get to only 20 rolls left in the house, oh my God we are a defcon1, it’s the end of the world, only 20 rolls left, oh the humanity of it all!!!

Not sure why that is scary.

You should expect that as the norm during any cold and flu season, unless you prefer to touch stuff people have had their gross hands on all day.

Yup. IF it becomes widespread AND the US government takes the same actions as every other government where it's widespread then there will be in home quarantines at the very least and I will NOT have to panic buy at the store.

It’s a no brainer what to do with toilet paper.

Geesh I thought my 45 rolls was a bit excessive! :-)

No TP runs for me for at least 6 months I think...

I am a big fan of stockpiling too much TP. Especially Quilted Northern. And I take a little pleasure in loading up both arms with economy sized packages and as I'm walking out of the checkout line, affecting a big grin and uttering: "I can't wait to poop! This is going to be awesome!!!"
