What does it hurt to have extra of items you/your family will use/eat/need, anyhow?
When I lived in Michigan everybody stocked up on TOILET PAPER! Entire basements filled with 24 roll packs of TOILET PAPER. The one thing you don't want to run out of in a blizzard.
