Schools, like any bureaucracy, are run by little Hitlers. These are losers who, on their own merits, would never be able to order anyone to do anything. However, empowered by their position in govt, they immediately abuse their authority.
Historically, there is only one solution to tyrants, large and small.
Educators are some of the biggest authoritarian control freaks to ever suck air in a pair of lungs and you can’t argue with them, they are “professionals!”
I would tell my kid, go to the dance, if you don’t want to dance with someone tell them sorry, no. If the teachers says you must you tell them you don’t own my body and I am not your slave, I CHOOSE who I dance with and no one else.
All this is an effort to protect those little waifs who never get asked. In our local school system they forbid florist or parents to take Valentines to their kids or to send a balloon or rose to a kid because one kid might not get anything and their feelings get hurt. I know several florists who were big time donators to the school system and this policy killed those donations like an Hbomb. Educators are for the most idiots.
