Gregg Jarrett Predicts No Justice From Durham Probe
Gregg Jarrett ^ | 7 hours ago | JARRETT STAFF

Posted on 02/28/2020 9:29:24 PM PST by conservative98

guest-hosting the Lou Dobb’s Show, Gregg Jarrett stated that he doubted the Durham probe would lead to any members of the deep state being charged. Gregg made his prediction during a conversation with Jason Chaffetz regarding the probe:

Gregg Jarrett: Your former colleague, Congressman Doug Collins, said today that he believes that the John Durham investigation into the origins of the Trump-Russia hoax and the FISA abuse and so forth will lead to criminal charges. I personally doubt that very much.

Chaffetz: I think it’s warranted, based on the information we have already seen and already know. My greatest hope is attorney general Barr. He has been the ray of hope and light so far. I don’t believe director Wray, the FBI director, is a reformer. But between Durham and Barr it’s our best hope. But I don’t know. Let’s think about this, Greg. The inspector general made a cripple mall referral on the deputy assistant director and laid out the case, and it was rejected. The guy was taking money. He was going to dinners. He took sealed court documents and gave them to the media and they didn’t prosecute him. When you have a simple easy case like that and you don’t prosecute, what about something else?

Gregg Jarrett: Even the guy who literally altered documents. I bet you he’s going to skate, too. That’s my prediction. That’s how it’s going at the DOJ

New present. New President.

Get ready to be happy.

But, I love your youthful idealism, Baggy. It’s.. endearing.

I'm old as hell, just not done yet.

I got faith in Trump as the last, best hope for America. Join me.

.......you misunderestimate the power of the Deep Swamp.

Replace the words "you" with "most people", "misunderestinate" with "underestimate" and "Deep Swamp" with "large bureaucracies" and usually only inexperienced people or trolls will argue against you.

Large, bureaucratic organizations like the FBI, CIA or DOJ have an inertia all their own and generally do not reform themselves or punish the guilty within without a substantial, budget-driven overhaul. Thus far, we seen none of that and it doesn't appear anywhere on the horizon. The "Trust (whomever or whatever)" people are usually either idiots or trolls.

If this isn’t punished the next time the crimes will be worse and we will end up a banana republic.

Now there's a revelation! But, but, but Mr. Repeat has been telling us Durham was gonna get 'em all! I know, cuz he kept repeating it and, of course, other stuff he repeats over and over and over again! (Geez those final 6 words could be in a song. DC5)

Anyway, hardly unexpected!

Re: “We are ALL tired of waiting for justice, but so is the President of the United States.”

Baloney.

Trump is the Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Justice.

If he was tired of waiting for justice, he would order the DOJ and other agencies to immediately release thousands of FOIA documents that Conservatives have been trying to get for years.

In sharp contrast, Democrats were getting their impeachment FOIA documents from DOJ and other agencies in as little as two weeks.

Trump has the personal authority to release any document in the executive branch of government that is in the public interest.

Trump has released nothing - and he will release nothing in his second term, either.

Re: “Large, bureaucratic organizations like the FBI, CIA or DOJ have an inertia all their own...”

The Deep State has nothing to do with inertia.

It has everything to do with Hard Left political corruption.

Is there even one agency or department in the Federal government that has Conservative inertia?

Of course not.

Was criminal code written in association with FISA courts? If not, with what precisely, would the abusers be charged? Don’t expect people to go to jail if there is no criminal code connected with their offenses. The DOJ is not going to invent it just to see people arrested. The more realistic result will probably be a reduction in sentences and/or full pardons for those abused by the court. I’d be the first person in the world to applaud Hillary going to the Federal pen, but again, to date not a single soul has pointed out the criminal code wherewith she would be charged. Perhaps Durham will cite it and use it to prosecute. We can hope.

every single administration ALWAYS has its “special prosecutors” sweeping up its predecessors messes.

Its one mechanism by which we preserve the peaceful transmission of power every 4-8 years.

The SP fantasies preoccupy the minds and media of the Red-Blue extremists and allow the DS to “keep tabs” accordingly.

Everybody-including the Bannons and the Judicial Watches etc all get to rake it in for a few years and everybody is “happy”

The last thing anybody ever wants again is another JFK-and it won’t happen. The kayfabe works-and its Maestro sits in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

the levers on the left and right have been exceedingly fine-tuned and only become more precise with each new administration.

Whether or not there are criminal charges, reform will take place. These evil people and their evil deeds will be exposed and the public will be educated. They may still Scurry back under the Rocks they came from but they will have been exposed.

So, according to you, Trump is a derp stater and is in on it.

Amazing.

I agree the FBI and DOJ are completely and totally corrupt and beyond repair.

Fire everyone in both departments and close the offices. May as well do the same at the State Department and CIA

The Deep State has nothing to do with inertia.

I am thinking you don't understand organizational inertia and, as a result, organizational entropy. The deep state is an amalgam of organizational behavior.
