The accepted assumption is that the Dems are determined to win the WH. If we consider that their real goal is the Senate (where their odds may be better), then it makes all the sense in the world for them to keep a bona fide crazy off the ticket, even as they alienate their own voters.
Michelle would be their best candidate, Obamas 3rd term. It would get the most votes on the D side of anyone.The Obamas won’t do it, they have their cash made.

The democrats keep trying to compare Trump with Nixon. Well I am old enough to remember what happened when the democrats ran McGovern against Nixon in 1968.
Of course, Nixon’s greatest crime was beating McGovern in a 49 state landslide. No one in the lamestream media voted for Nixon or knew anyone who did, so clearly he stole the election and had to be punished.

Any person coming in at the last minute would have no legitimacy in the eyes of the base. If there would be a brokered convention one of the remaining candidates will get it.

The democRATS have spent too much time trying to get rid of Trump and failing, that they forgot that if they did get rid of him (or not) that they would still have to run someone from their own party who could win.

There were two factions of the Republican Party, the east coast and the west coast Republicans. Goldwater, Nixon and Reagan were west coast. The Rockefeller's and Bushes were east coast. East coast was CIA, Illuminati, CFR. Every time a west coast Republican got the nomination, they tried to torpedo them.
The press was just as dishonest then as it is now.
On Nixon, first they got rid of Agnew, cause he wasn't on board with the plan. They also knew Nixon wouldn't go for Rockefeller, so they got Ford, who was an amiable dunce. Then the got Nixon and Ford got Rockefeller as VP.
Anyone else remember when a crazy Squeaky Fromme tried to assassinate Ford? Yeah, those crazy gunslingers were all the rage. They got John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, MLK, tried to get Ford, and one of them got a shot in on Reagan. Reagan had Bush forced on him. When the take down failed, Bush had to wait the full eight years before doing his best to destroy the country.
