I felt the Bern and voted in the open primary just for poops and giggles and also to try the new voting system with touch screen, printed ballot and scanner combination. It will be a pain to use by the unwashed massed and will slow voting down in a heavy turnout. Turnout for my local precinct was 104 at 4:00. Very light.

I worked in the Andersen SC area two weeks ago. Near zero signs, no apparent interest at all in the primary.

Worked in Concord NH the first two weeks in January as well. Saw only two people with political buttons on. The democrats are in trouble.

Reports are that early voting in SC is higher that 2016.

Prediction: Biden wins a narrow victory in South Carolina. He does not drop out and takes his clown act into Super Tuesday. He then draws enough votes from Bloomberg to give Sanders a plurality in most of the states (except Floida) and a large delegate lead. Bloomberg gets a $400 million migraine and accelerates the process of buying up superdelegates. Bernie gets denied on the first ballot, riots ensue, Obama calls for unity and peace, enter......

“Reports are that early voting in SC is higher that 2016.”

Really?

“On election day itself, turnout was said to be light in some areas, but much steadier in others, according to Chris Whitmire with the State Election Commission.”

Yes, light on election day, my comment was about early voting, not today.

14 states hold their primaries on Tues 3/3.
Bernie will be viable (over 15%) in each and win delegates in each.

Other candidates with a chance for viability in each state:

CA: Bloom, Warren
UTAH: Bloom, Biden, Butt
COL: Bloom, Biden, Warren, Butt

TX: Bloom, Biden, Warren
OKLA: Bloom, Biden, Butt
ARK: Bloom, Biden, Butt

ALABAMA: Bloom, Biden
TENN: Bloom, Biden
NC: Bloom, Biden, Warren
VA: Bloom, Biden

MINN: AmyK, Warren
MASS: Bloom, Biden, Warren, Butt
VT: Butt
MAINE: Bloom, Biden, Warren, Butt

Conclusions?
1. A good chunk of the non-Bernie vote will be cast for candidates who finish in the 10% - 12% range. And receive 0 delegates.
2. Bernie will win 7 to 10 states.

Changes:
Warren, Butt dropped from VA
Butt replaces Warren in UT
Biden, Butt dropped from CA

There’s rarely a good reason to strengthen the left by voting Socialist. This is not an emergency.

Trading short-term benefit of harming Joe for .... Long-term consequence of what?

CREEP is weakening Joe without strengthening Bernie.
