Obviously, their marital status is not ideal, but I actually think it’s kind of cool and life-affirming to see a British PM fathering a child. Anyone remember a few years back when someone pointed out that virtually all of the European leaders (Merkel, Macron et al) were childless?

Boris Johnson has had a series of illegitimate children, whom he abandoned when he broke up with their mothers. When asked how many children he has, he refuses to answer. (It is 5 or 6, I think, from different relationships.) I don’t know why he is marrying this latest woman, maybe because he is now PM.
