Michael Savage posted this on twitter, not sure how credible he is but here goes: Michael Savage Verified account @ASavageNation 45m45 minutes ago a very intelligently designed bio-weapon- and recurrence rate is high PRES TRUMP NEEDS MY ADVICE ON THIS !!! ps AS A TRAINED EPIDEMIOLOGIST ASK ME WHY A HIGH CLUSTER OF CASES IN IRAN? BECAUSE CHINESE SCIENTISTS WERE IN IRAN WORKING ON A BIO-WEAPON-WHICH ESCAPED!

Old Coast.
Things could get messy.
Light a candle, ring the bell, say a prayer but we are nowhere close to turning the page.

Which means that the vast majority of cases are self limited. Please recall that Such Korea analysis points toward a death rate of 0.47% — in line with SARS, MERS and Influenza

I would bet a lot of people have it or had it and didn't even stop to think about it or go to the doctor.....because from what I am hearing most cases are very mild....
we too do not go to the dr for the flu....we just take care of ourselves and wait it out, which the high priced dr would have said anyway.....
so how many people have had it and not known nor reported their mild symptoms, because THAT group all included with those that have reported would make the death rate much less impressive....

When I was trying to warn people a while back, I already knew it was a bio weapon. I used to be "deep state" and have friends in interesting roles. Now, it's out and here we are. Sure hope everyone has food on hand for a few weeks and prescriptions filled. It won't be the virus causing the worst overall problem, it will be the supply chain and economic fallout and overwhelmed medical facilities.
Just want to give a big shout out to the "it's just a flu" crowd. Blood on all of your hands if anyone listens to you and didn't/doesn't take reasonable precautions. I'm done.

I dunno, but they likely infected a few more, unknowingly. So far, 80% haven’t needed hospital treatment and 20 percent have needed some form of hospital treatment. The otherwise healthy person who had mild symptoms and recovered probably passed it along to those in not-as-good health.

Manatee County= Bradenton.

“death rate of 0.47% in line with SARS, MERS and Influenza”
Influenza has a death rate of about .05% for this season.
About 1/9th of the number you quoted.

It has been pretty obvious it’s a bioweapon. I believe it is their attempt to stop President Trump.. It will make him and us stronger!

Hmmm. South Korea: 30 people recovered, 22 people died.
Unless you ASS-U-ME everyone sick today will survive, which is what you do when you misapply the textbook formula for historical epidemics, which count everyone who is sick as a resolved (which, let's face it, everyone who had the Spanish flu did reach a resolution, which is more that you can say for everyone currently ill with WuFlu!) even though the current cases have not resolved, you could get that low a number.
Hows about looking at resolved cases. 52 resolved cases, 22 deaths. Is that even vaguely close to 0.47%?
Hint: 42 is the answer, the answer to the ultimate question the question of life...

Wrong. SARS and MERS much deadlier than seasonal influenza.

Also, a disclaimer, the early rates are much higher, on 1/24, when 36 Chinese were reported as recovered, 26 had died (41.9% by my reckoning)
On the last day before China essentially shut down reporting, 2/3, the numbers were 645 recovered, 426 died (39.8%)
Fast forward to the current world wide rate (including suspect Chinese numbers) 45074 recovered, 3044 dead (6.3%)
It's been falling a few tenths of a percent the past few days.
I'm hopeful it will get below 5% I rather doubt it will be below 2%. Hope I'm wrong. Time will tell.

With a two week latency period that will miss about 95% of the cases.
Two weeks from now, testing will be like counting the amount of the national debt—of geek interest only....

I am in Florida at the moment, trying to figure out my parent’s situation in assisted living. Mom is having some mental issues along with her physical problems. God help them and the others in that building, if even the regular flu or the norovirus gets loose.
