Is there a death count from the regular flu? Just wondering...
Yes, but you have to look to find it.
surgeon general said we were at 18000 flu deaths currently
My small town Dr. has had 2 of his patients die from the flu this year.
Both elderly.
And one healthy 29 yo that almost succumbed to it when it went to his lungs
He’s more concerned about a 1917-18 type flu epidemic that kills off 2-3% of the entire population of the planet
30,000 to as high as 100,000 die from flu every year, but of course more are infected... so looks like Coronavirus is more virulent?
But seems to hit the over 70s much harder. No children get infected. Healthy adults recover. I’m not sure if there might even be an ethnic predisposition here. Was this man Chinese?
There have always been regular updates on the flu. Anyone in the healthcare industry has to take the flu course every year, and they learn all about it.
No one ever looks for them because its expected, normal, and planned for.
This is not expected, unpredictable, and presents the potential for a significant increase in the load on our systems.
Yes, between 600 and 900 Americans died of the "common" flu in the 3 days between these TWO deaths (of Chinese men) from COVID-19.
What about a murder count by illegal immigrants?
Exactly.
New rule for posting on FR: Every post about coronavirus must follow with a post about seasonal flu cases/deaths.
Or so I would like to see...
80,000 died from flu last year in America.
I think I heard over 18,000, but people are used to flu and won't panic, this is different and provides the corrupt media and Dems an opportunity to scare their constituents, how nice of them.
